Priceline Blog Introduction

The aim of this blog is to help you get the cheapest rates at hotels. I am a frequent user of priceline and I think I get really great roomrates. For instance I stayed at the St. Louis Hyatt located in Union Station for a winning bid of fifty dollars. The sad part is that I think I could have get the room at a cheaper rate, it still eats at me.

To get cheap rates I use the bid now feature Priceline.com offers. It really works out for the better when you are trying to save on a feature. Most of my stays are in St. Louis. I get a hotel every once in a while just to escape my situation, and no I am not married. Enough, about my personal life.

This blog will provide you two things the purchase rate and date of my room and a review of the hotel. I am going to post some information about past rates and reviews to get the blog going. I encourage any other priceline junkies to send me information about the great deals they have received not just on rooms. Send me your flight rates and rental car rates as well. Make sure you describe the quality of your flight, car and your expereince with the service. Well, hopefully I really get going tomorrow.

I do not expect this to be published but I pray it does.
I just got ripped off for the last time by this site. Look at the hotels listed for 2 stars rating.
They are all places that have 24 hr front desks, most have pools, and they all at least clean your room daily. The place they stuck me with was a dump. NO FRONT DESK FROM 11PM TO 7AM, NO SHUTTLE, NO POOL, AND THEY WONT STOP IN EVEN ONCE TO CLEAN YOUR ROOM IF YOU ARE STAYING LESS THAN A WEEK. This was not how it was represented and THEY DO NOT CARE. They have your money and thats all they care about.

The Customer service from Priceline.com is the worst of all. They rib off people. They code one price and charge a different price. I would never in my life will use them. PriceLine.com is the most Dishonest unfair lairs of all others. I hope people stop using them once all. I wish and Hope that PriceLine.com GOES OUT for good. Please stop cheating people. Priceline is a ripoff. Buyer beware. I tried to book a hotel in Winslow Arizona. They booked me in Holbrook Arizona. The screens leading up to the commitment never mentioned that it would be in Holbrook. Holbrook is 35 miles away. Now I am going to have to commute 70 miles to use the hotel I am taking the $75 loss and disputing the billing with my credit card company

I purchased a priceline vacation for 2 people from Kansas City to San Diego including airfare, and 4 nights at a Holiday Inn for $784. We flew out on United and back on American Airlines. American Airlines shows a lot more class and politeness. United customer service is pretty bad. Orange Cab in San Diego was dependable and reasonable. It costed $14 to get from the airport to the hotel, and about $12 to go to Sea World or Mission Beach. I didn't confirm the flights and the hotel until 24 hours in advance so I was pretty freaked out wondering if I threw my money away to some flakes. Everything turned out great, but I could have bought myself some peace of mind by getting travel insurance. The price was so great it was unbelievable. I'm so glad I did it even though it was way out of my comfort zone. I had used priceline for airline tickets to Chicago with no trouble at all. I am considering using them again, and possibly bidding on a nice hotel. Wish me luck!

WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM PRICELIN E.COM

WHAT A SCAM with Priceline.com.

I went on line and bid on a price for a rental car in Portland, OR and was told that it was accepted. Now I had to enter my personal information pretaining to my credit card to secure it. After I did that Priceline.com denied me the car at the price I was first told.

Now I am sitting out here with my credit card information with them and I do not feel very secure since they were not sincere on what they had told me. I now have to cancel my credit card and get a new one issues since I am not sure that I was on a secure line after what happened to me.

To me priceline.com is a huge scam to just get your credit card information.

I do see a lot of people getting mad at Priceline about the "no refund" policy, but didn't they read that before buying? This article has some good tips on when to
AVOID Priceline.

PRICELINE - SHAME ON YOU FOR STEALING FROM US. WE MADE A RESERVATION FOR THREE NIGHTS IN A HOTEL. AN EMERGENCY CAME UP AND WE HAD TO CHECKOUT ONE DAY EARLY. YOU REFUSED TO REFUND US ONE NIGHTS STAY. THAT IS STEALING. SHAME ON YOU. I WON'T USE YOU AGAIN.
